HISTORY

It began in November 2007 …. The director of Mac Engineers Limited was offered a position as an Installation Engineer , the work , sub - contracting to one of the worlds largest and well known Overhead Crane manufacturers , installing cranes across the UK and Ireland from 105t SWL Double Girders complete with state of the art technology unrivaled by any other company to 500 kg Jib Cranes / Runways.

More contracts were won and we began to work for the UK’s largest manufacturer , doing the same work , installing brand new equipment up and down the country along with the electrical supply’s , control cabling and finishing up with commission , test and handover.

In 2016 a new opportunity arose , this would be carrying out the service / repair / maintenance of older types of Cranes , Jibs , Hoists and lifting equipment across the north of England but travelling further afield when required to do so. During these years a vast array of knowledge and experience was gained and this led to the formation of Mac Engineers Limited in March of 2022.

NOW

Now in its third year of trading , ‘Mac’ has now attained ‘Safe Contractor’ status proving our commitment to training , correct documentation , procedures and methods of working. This along with investment in CPCS , IPAF , PASMA , GWO and Asbestos Awareness keeps us ahead of the industry and knowledgeable about risks and safe working methods out in the field.

A new premises in West Yorkshire is now our HQ where we hope to expand into Lifting Equipment sales , in house servicing and repairs - just ask !
